Country Star Zach Bryan ‘Nearly Died’ In Car Crash
In the midst of a nationwide tour, country music star Zach Bryan and his girlfriend, Brianna LaPaglia, also known as Brianna ‘Chickenfry’ on social media, faced a moment that brought their world to a standstill.
As they traveled for Bryan’s “Quittin Time” tour, disaster struck in the form of a violent car accident. The crash was so severe that both Bryan and LaPaglia believed they were on the brink of death. In a candid TikTok video that has since captivated her followers, LaPaglia shared the terrifying details of their ordeal.
“Zach and I got into a traumatizing side-by-side car crash. It flipped a bunch of times, everything shattered. And thank God we had our seatbelts on,” she described. “There was a lot of blood and we thought, like, we were saying goodbye to each other.”
The immediate aftermath saw Bryan rushed to receive medical care, narrowly escaping more severe injuries. “After the ambulance came and he got all stitched up, we were like, oh my God, thank God, like didn’t hit an artery, it was just a huge gash. We were okay, we are happy and alive and we were like, fine, okay, whatever, woohoo,” LaPaglia explained.

After the accident, the pair made it to Little Rock, Arkansas, for Bryan’s performances on May 13 and May 14. However, upon returning to their bus, one of their cats got loose, and during the search, Bryan sustained further injuries. “Zach tries to jump on her [and] all of his stitches burst again,” Chickenfry detailed. “He is bleeding everywhere. So much blood.” Fortunately, they managed to find their cat and left Arkansas without further incidents.
The couple’s initial meeting was at the 2023 Academy of Country Music Awards, where Chickenfry approached Bryan for a photograph. Their relationship was later confirmed by Chickenfry on her “PlanBri Uncut” podcast in July.
