Fans are keeping the family of former New York Giants star Michael Strahan in their prayers after tragic news about his youngest daughter.

In January, the “Good Morning America” host announced that his daughter Isabella suffered from medulloblastoma, a cancerous and fast-growing brain tumor that affects the cerebellum, the rear of the brain that controls movement and coordination. Doctors rushed to provide chemotherapy treatment as well as a medication to protect her hearing. However, the young woman told fans in her latest bedside update that the treatment is badly damaging her ability to remember a single thing about her day.

“I’m given this drug to protect my hearing and just because I have a reaction to it, they give me Ativan. And for some reason, this happened last time too, I can’t remember a single thing about that day,” the 19-year-old explained. The video included clips from her visit to the hospital where she felt “loopy” and ate a sandwich that she couldn’t remember ordering.

Besides the memory loss, Isabella reported feeling much better after the chemo, adding in an interview that she slept 18 hours immediately following her first round. She is admittedly scared about how she will return to normal life when the treatment comes to an end. “Once I’m done, how I’m gonna go back to normal life? ‘Cause I feel like there’s always gonna be another treatment or something I have to do,” said said, TMZ reported.

Strahan, who retired from his playing days in 2001, has maintained a celebrity following thanks to his high-profile role on ABC’s morning show. Fans posted in droves upon learning of Isabella’s struggles with memory loss, Total Pro Sports reported.

“Baby girl hang in there. 🙏🏽 Wishing you the very best and a speedy healing and recovery,” wrote Joyce H on X. “My heart goes out to this young lady and her family. May God grant her a miracle. 🙏🏽” another added.

“Isabella and your family have been in my thoughts and prayers since you both announced her journey. As a nurse, I know the journey of anyone given this diagnosis. Hang in there and keep fighting! 💪🏾🙏🏾,” one fan wrote to Strahan directly.

“Isabella is in my daily prayers 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼”

“You are [not] alone there are lot of prayer warriors praying for you.”

“With my platform, I hope to just kind of be a voice and be a person who people who maybe are going through something similar, going through chemotherapy or radiation, can look at and just hear and just watch, or find something interesting about their day,” she said. “I’m just excited for that.”
