JUST IN: ‘Squad’ Member Headed For Landslide Loss In Democrat Primary
One of the illustrious members of the far-left “Squad” may not be headed back to Congress next year, according to results trickling out of his New York district.
Congressman Jamaal Bowman (D-NY), who made headlines earlier this year for pulling a fire escape in what appeared to be an attempt to delay a vote, is badly trailing his Democratic primary opponent according to new polls obtained by the New York Post. Results show challenger George Latimer ahead of Rep. Bowman by as much as 17 points heading into the June 25th primary election. Latimer, a Westchester County executive, found himself capturing 48% of the vote to Bowman’s 31%, and 21% of voters still undecided.

The Daily Caller added that Latimer’s support appears to be drawing from quarters of the district upset over Bowman’s anti-Israel stances since the October 7th attack by Hamas. The ensuing war has split progressive Jews – who made up a significant portion of the electorate – with younger, more vitriolic voters whose protests on New York campuses have veered at times into open antisemitism in defense of Palestine. Polling in the district shows 49% of respondents siding with Latimer, who has strongly advocated for Israel’s right to defend itself. Bowman, who at times has referred to the Jewish nation as an “apartheid” state, draws just 29% of support on the issue.
In November, the Democratic incumbent was caught on video making the “apartheid” comment and claiming that allegations of Hamas murdering children and raping women during the initial attack were a “lie.” The Post added that he later walked the comments back as Hamas propaganda.
“Will Congressman Jamal Bowman be prosecuted and imprisoned for very dangerously pulling and setting off the main fire alarm system in order to stop a Congressional vote that was going on in D.C…"

Rep. Bowman is not the only member of the Squad to begin equivocating on their support for Palestinians. Fellow New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) took heat from anti-Israel activists over the weekend for hosting progressive Israeli advocates on her Instagram page as the trio denounced encroaching antisemitism in antiwar protests. The change in tone comes after AOC has been heckled in public and literally chased out of a movie theater by pro-Palestinian New Yorkers who demand she begin referring to Israel’s actions as “genocide.”
On the other side of the Squad are members like Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) who recently attended a conference financially supported by organizations with ties to designated terrorists. Her counterpart, Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), has claimed she is in Congress to represent the interests of the Somalian people, drawing flak from critics who say she is more patriotic to her home country than her adopted one. When confronted with the allegations, both have either yelled at reporters or stood by as their staffers appeared to assault them.
