WATCH: Trump Shares Touching Moment With Young Supporter Ahead Of Philadelphia Rally
Former President Trump shared a touching moment with a young supporter while visiting the blue stronghold of Philadelphia on Saturday.
While stopping for a famous Philly cheesesteak, Trump was greeted by a young supporter who was dressed as the former president. While mingling with supporters, Trump pulled out his wallet and told the cashier to make sure the boy “gets a special sandwich.”
The young supporter then started to tear up as Trump signed a $20 bill for him. The two then posed for a picture. “I like that kid!” Trump exclaimed.

Hours ahead of the president’s arrival at Temple University, thousands of supporters could be seen lining up across multiple city blocks. In addition to the fact that Philadelphia is heavily Democrat controlled, the turnout exceeded expectations despite a severe heat advisory.
The crowd could be heard chanting “we love Trump” and “USA” as they waited for the former president.
🚨 The turnout for Trump here in Philly is absolutely MASSIVE! And he won’t even be here for three more hours!

Upon arriving in Philadelphia, Trump visited multiple cheesesteak venues where he mingled with supporters and chatted workers. The Republican nominee continued with his push for tax free tips, a proposal he first proposed in Las Vegas last month. Several Republican lawmakers have said they are on board with the plan, which is quickly becoming a major campaign selling point.
The former president signed a receipt with “no tax on tips” upon exiting the restaurant, leaving the workers with $500 tip.

Trump’s Philadelphia rally is scheduled to formally get underway at 7 p.m. While Trump has held several rallies in the Keystone State, Saturday’s event marks the first time a campaign rally will be taking place in Philadelphia.
The event — which comes less than a week ahead of Trump’s first debate with President Biden — follows a growing theme of rallies in blue strongholds. The former president recently drew thousands of supporters for a historic rally in the Bronx, which followed another jampacked rally in Wildwood, New Jersey.
