WATCH: Trump Struggles To Contain His Laughter After Biden Claims He Could Beat Him In Golf
Former President Donald Trump found himself in a hilarious back-and-forth with President Biden over their respective golf ability during Thursday night’s opening presidential debate.
While answering a question about his age, the former president stated that he feels as good as he did 20 years ago. He added that he has “aced” multiple cognitive tests in recent years before asking Biden to do the same.
Continuing to speak about his physical fitness, Trump pointed to his recent victories in Palm Beach golf tournaments. “It’s not even senior, two regular club championships to do that you have to be quite smart, and you have to be able to hit the ball a long way, and I do,” Trump bragged.
“He doesn’t do it, he can’t hit a ball fifty yards,” the former president continued while pointing at Biden. “He challenged me to a golf match he can hit a ball fifty yards.”
Biden then claimed that he got his golf handicap down to six while serving as vice president before claiming he could beat Trump in a round of golf. “I told you before I’m happy to play golf if you carry your own bag,” Biden said, drawing a smirk from Trump.
