WATCH: Trump Supporter ROASTS Biden To His Face, Joe Takes It Like A Champ: ‘You Old Fart!’
President Joe Biden was a good sport while a diehard Trump supporter roasted him in public on Wednesday, calling the 81-year-old an “old fart” and challenging him to remember his own name.
“You’re an old fart!” and older man said just feet away from Biden. “I know I’m old!” Biden shot back, smiling and shrugging off the joke. The president donned a MAGA hat as an ostensible sign of political unity on 9/11, just hours after he and his former rival appeared side-by-side at the annual New York ceremony honoring victims of the attacks. Asked if he remembers his own name, Biden looked around and replied, “I don’t remember my name. I’m too old.” An aide handed him a pen to sign a presidential seal hat for his gadfly.

The president’s trip to Pennsylvania marked the 23rd memorial of the September 11th, 2001 attacks and was dedicated to local firefighters, many of whom responded to the crash of a hijacked airplane in a field near Shanksville, Pennsylvania. He caught flak from both the media and the family of one victim for flippantly declaring he was going to “do 9/11” the following day, a reference to his appearance at the New York gathering. Even then, a somber annual tradition was punctured by whoops and hollers of support for President Trump, who smiled and waved as Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris stood close by.
A short video clip of Biden’s MAGA moment caught the attention of the Trump camp’s X account. “Thanks for the support, Joe!” staffers wrote with a screenshot of Biden wearing the signature hat. In another post, the Trump War Room account added, “Kamala did so bad in last night’s debate, Joe Biden just put on a Trump hat.”
“As a gesture, he gave a hat to a Trump supporter who then said that in the same spirit, POTUS should put on his Trump cap,” Deputy Press Secretary Andrew Bates wrote on X. Still, President Biden couldn’t resist taking a shot at his former foe, who declared during Tuesday night’s debate that migrants in Springfield, Ohio were eating the pets of American residents. “No eating dogs and cats,” he told the old Trump supporter.

Kelsey Simmers, the daughter of the man yukking up Biden’s visit, said her dad was just a good-humored Trump fan who meant no ill will. “My pap don’t care who it is,” Simmers told the BBC. “He likes to joke and have fun.” She added the Trump campaign quickly reached out and sent her father another MAGA hat. On Tuesday President Trump also joked on stage that he would like to send Vice President Harris a Make America Great Again hat as well.
