Don Lemon Gets SHREDDED After Mocking Melania, Deletes The Post In Disgrace

Don Lemon, the king of cold takes on social media, found himself frozen out by users who piled on after he panned former First Lady Melania Trump’s heartfelt video calling on authorities to get to the bottom of an assassination attempt earlier this summer.

Lemon, who earlier this year was publicly fired by his longtime employer CNN, posted a reaction video on social media channels where he gives viewers a glimpse of his face as he watched Melania’s on-camera statement, one he wrote off as airbrushed, artificial, and inauthentic. “Why does it look like AI?!?” Lemon wrote in a now-deleted post captured by Fox News.

“Why didn’t law enforcement officials arrest the shooter before the speech?” Melania said. A smaller window in Lemon’s video shows him shaking his head and rolling his eyes. He closes his eyes in frustration as she goes on. “There is definitely more to the story, and we need to uncover the truth.” Social media users declared Lemon “sick” for mocking the wife of former President Donald Trump who was calling on the FBI and members of Congress to determine how the Secret Service failed catastrophically to prevent the July 13th shooting at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

Libs of TikTok was among the first to share Lemon’s reaction videos. “Don Lemon mocks Melania Trump describing her distress over the attempted ass*ss*nation of her husband. Sick.” Although the disgraced journalist has since removed the post from his TikTok account, Fox News noted it still appears to be on his YouTube account as of Friday morning. Other users called the controversial former anchor “attention-starved.”

“Hey @donlemon, so can you have empathy for a human without considering politics for once in your life?” conservative commentator Paul Szypula wrote. Stacy Washington, a conservative radio host, piled on. “We should all be distressed when someone tries to kill a former president and actually kills an innocent man in the crowd. Do better Don Lemon.” Ian Miles Cheong, a frequent conservative social media commentator, chimed in, “What a sick freak,” while Sky News host Rita Panahi wrote on X, “Really @donlemon you’re going to mock a woman distressed by an assassination attempt against her husband & the many unanswered questions that remain to this day. Classy.”

“There can’t be a more pathetic, attention-starved human being on the planet. What person in their right mind would ever mock a wife over an assassination attempt against her husband? Don Lemon, everyone!,” Fox News contributor Joe Concha wrote.

Lemon has had a rough go of it lately, biting off more than he could chew at the Democratic National Convention where a troll convinced him to promote a website falsely claiming to expose the now-infamous Project 2025. He made several attempts to shore up his own self-promotion on social media since publicly splitting with X owner Elon Musk; in August Lemon was taken aback after speaking with many Black voters who called Kamala Harris’s overtures inauthentic and was similarly shocked to hear from diverse throngs of blue-state voters supporting President Trump.
