JUST IN: Vivek Ramaswamy Joins Fox News As Host
Fox Nation has announced that former Republican presidential candidate and entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy will host a new five-part docuseries titled Truths with Vivek Ramaswamy, set to premiere on the streaming platform on September 22. A condensed version of the series will also air on the Fox News Channel later that night.
The series will focus on key issues Ramaswamy believes conservatives must confront to shape the future of the Republican movement. Topics include American national identity, the ongoing conflicts in Ukraine and Israel, campus protests in the U.S., and the role of religion in modern society. Fox Nation says the series will present Ramaswamy’s vision for a “positive alternative” to the left’s outlook.
Ahead of the series debut, Fox Nation will also release a one-hour forum titled Just Ask: Vivek Ramaswamy on September 20, featuring the former candidate answering questions from a live audience. The event, filmed in Philadelphia, will be moderated by Fox & Friends Weekend co-host Pete Hegseth.
Lauren Petterson, president of Fox Nation, expressed excitement about bringing Ramaswamy’s perspective to the platform. “We are excited to launch this new series showcasing Mr. Ramaswamy’s thoughtful and unique perspective on the state of American politics after his meteoric rise over the last year,” Petterson said.
Ramaswamy, who gained national attention during the 2024 Republican primary, has positioned himself as a critic of what he calls “woke” ideology and globalism. He said the new series will challenge conservatives to think about their vision for the future, rather than just opposing the left.
“Today conservatives know what we’re against,” Ramaswamy said. “But what exactly do we stand FOR? To answer that question, we need to talk to every American, not just those who agree with us. That’s the subject of my new book ‘TRUTHS: The Future of America-First,’ and I enjoyed partnering with FOX Nation to host provocative dinner table conversations that we rarely have in our country anymore.”
In Truths, Ramaswamy will be joined by guests including his wife Apoorva Ramaswamy, journalist Matt Taibbi, physicist Steven Koonin, and others in a roundtable format. The discussions aim to engage viewers from across the political spectrum. Ramaswamy is a businessman and author who founded companies like Roivant Sciences and Strive Asset Management. He is also the author of three books, including Woke, Inc. (2021) and Nation of Victims (2022). His latest book, Truths: The Future of America-First, is set to be released in 2024 to coincide with the show’s debut.
Ramaswamy’s pivot to media comes after an unsuccessful bid for the Republican nomination in the 2024 presidential race. Despite failing to secure the nomination, he built a strong following with his focus on combating progressive policies and his calls for a stronger national identity. Ramaswamy’s series is one of several new offerings from Fox Nation, as the platform continues to build on its success with politically focused content aimed at conservative audiences.
