Dalton, who stepped into the starting role for the Panthers earlier this season, has been pivotal for the team’s offense. Fans will be awaiting further updates on his condition, as the Panthers aim to turn around their season.
Dalton began his career with the Cincinnati Bengals in 2011 after being drafted in the second round. He quickly established himself as a reliable starter, leading the Bengals to five consecutive playoff appearances from 2011 to 2015. Known for his strong arm and steady play, Dalton earned the nickname “The Red Rifle” for his red hair and aggressive passing style. After a long stint in Cincinnati, he became a journeyman QB, playing for the Dallas Cowboys, Chicago Bears, and New Orleans Saints.
As of recent seasons, Dalton has taken on more of a backup and mentor role, supporting younger quarterbacks while occasionally stepping in as a starter when needed.
