WATCH: ‘Morning Joe’ Host Accuses Trump Of Killing People

Mika Brzezinski, the co-host of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” delivered a dramatic monologue on Thursday, accusing Donald Trump of “killing women” and endangering their safety. The fiery rant, which appeared more like an emotional outburst than reasoned analysis, was triggered by a controversial Atlantic article, published ahead of the 2024 presidential election, which alleges that Trump admires Hitler’s generals and disregards military service.

“His cozying up to dictators, his obsession with Hitler that has now come out, what he has said about our veterans, and what he wants to do with the military against his political adversaries, it’s all huge news,” she said. “This is the future that we’re looking at in the next Trump term, if there is one,” she claimed, appearing visibly frustrated.

“But this is what voters know right now, that he is killing us. I’m talking about us women. He’s killing us.” Brzezinski said while laced with hyperbole. “He is putting us at risk. He is making us afraid to have babies. He is putting our reproductive health at risk, and some women have died already because of this.”

While Brzezinski attempted to validate her concerns by saying, “I understand that people who are busy and are just tapping in may not be able to comprehend because we’ve been free, we’ve been comfortable,” her condescending tone seemed more likely to alienate viewers than to win them over.

The 2024 election is shaping up to be one of the most contentious in recent memory, at least in the polls, with Trump remaining the frontrunner. The Atlantic’s article, which attempted to depict Trump as a callous figure indifferent to military sacrifice, cited anonymous sources who alleged that Trump refused to pay for the burial of U.S. Army Specialist Vanessa Guillén, using derogatory language about her Mexican heritage.

The Atlantic reported:

According to attendees, and to contemporaneous notes of the meeting taken by a participant, an aide answered: Yes, we received a bill; the funeral cost $60,000.

Trump became angry. “It doesn’t cost 60,000 bucks to bury a fucking Mexican!” He turned to his chief of staff, Mark Meadows, and issued an order: “Don’t pay it!” Later that day, he was still agitated. “Can you believe it?” he said, according to a witness. “Fucking people, trying to rip me off.”

The Atlantic’s claims were met with immediate backlash, particularly from Vanessa Guillén’s sister, Mayra Guillén, who took to social media to denounce the report. She condemned the politicization of her sister’s murder, labeling it as hurtful and misleading. Mayra clarified that Trump had shown respect to her family and provided support during their time of grief. She even confirmed that she had voted for Trump in 2024, contradicting the narrative presented by The Atlantic.

While Mika Brzezinski’s unhinged rhetoric may appeal to her ultra-liberal base, the latest polling data tells a different story. According to the prediction market platform Polymarket, Trump currently holds a significant lead over Kamala Harris in the 2024 election forecast, with Trump standing at 62.6% and Harris at 37.4%.
