Former President Donald Trump took the stage at Madison Square Garden just after 7 p.m. Eastern Time, following a star-studded lineup of guest speakers and an introduction from Melania.

Before the former First Lady took the stage to introduce her husband for one of his final campaign rallies, the sold-out crowd heard from more than two-dozen speakers, including Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Tucker Carlson, Dr. Phil and Elon Musk. Wrestling legend Hulk Hogan also made a surprise appearance and received what was far and away the loudest reception ahead of the former president’s arrival.

After receiving a warm reception herself, Melania told the crowd that it was her pleasure to announce, “Our next commander-in-chief, my husband, President Donald J. Trump.” The former president then walked through the crowd while making his entrance to Lee Greenwood’s “God Bless The USA.”

Once onstage for his third New York rally in less than six months, Trump told the crowd that he was honored to be, “back in the city I love.” He then posed a simple question, “are you better off now than you were four ago,” to which the crowd replied with a firm “no!

I’m here today with a message of hope for all Americans. With your vote in this election, I will end inflation. I will stop the invasion of criminals coming into our country, and I will bring back the American dream,” the former president told the crowd. “We need the American dream to come back home. Our country will be bigger, better, bolder, richer, safer, and stronger than ever before.”

The Republican nominee framed next week’s election as, “a choice between whether we will have four more years of gross incompetence and failure, or whether we will begin the four greatest years in the history of our country.”

We will achieve success that no one can imagine. We will have the strongest economy, the most secure borders, the safest cities, the most powerful military, the best trade deals, and we will dominate the frontiers of science, medicine, business, technology, and space,” the former president continued. “And I’m asking you to be excited about the future of our country again. I’m asking you to dream big again. We’re going to dream big again. We haven’t been dreaming big at all. This will be America’s new golden age.”
