JUST IN: Top Pollster Gives Kamala A Brutal Race Update After Costly Gaffe In Final Stretch

Top pollster Frank Luntz has delivered a warning to Vice President Kamala Harris about the impact of recent comments made by Joe Biden. During a live Zoom call on Tuesday, Biden referred to Trump supporters as “garbage,” a remark that Luntz believes could severely damage Harris’s momentum just days before the election.

“It’s going to be huge because this is not some comedian saying something stupid and offensive at a rally where he should have been just basically disinvited,” Luntz noted. “This is the President of the United States endorsing his vice president saying something. And I know that there’s different interpretations about what he said. It’s still inappropriate. He still shouldn’t be doing it.”

The president’s choice of words has already sparked intense reaction across social media, with Trump supporters rallying behind the insult and the Harris campaign struggling to control the fallout. The remark, reminiscent of Hillary Clinton’s infamous “basket of deplorables” comment from the 2016 election, may energize Trump’s base even further. Luntz drew direct parallels between the two situations, predicting that the backlash would be substantial.

“And I’ve watched Trump already seize this,” Luntz explained. “The basket of deplorables was significant, was meaningful in 2016. In 2024, I can promise you that this is going to drive Trump turnout. He’s doing it already. I can see, I’m sure there’s going to be ads on as soon as tonight about this. This may be a turning point for those final 3% — and that’s all it is — who still need to be persuaded.”

Earlier in the week, Biden took aim at comments made by insult comedian Tony Hinchcliffe, who performed a comedy set at Trump’s sold-out rally at Madison Square Garden over the weekend. Hinchcliffe — who is known for his no-holds-barred style of roast comedy — at one point made a joke about Puerto Rico. The Harris-Walz seized on the comment and have attempted to tie it to the Trump Campaign.

“They’re good, decent, honorable people,” Biden said of Puerto Ricans. “The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters.” A White House spokesperson soon attempted to downplay the president’s comments, claiming he was referring to Hinchcliffe specifically.

Trump responded to Biden’s comments about his supporters on Tuesday night — when the sitting president labeled half the country as human “garbage” — in a hilarious way while traveling to a rally in battleground Wisconsin.

While the president’s plane was touching down in the battleground state for the first of two rallies on Wednesday, senior Trump advisor Dan Scavino shared a video of a Trump-themed garbage truck waiting at the airport. The white truck was decorated with the official Trump “Make America Great Again” campaign logo while sporting both American and Trump flags on both ends of the vehicle.

After exiting the plane, the Republican nominee traded in his suit jacket for a neon vest and took a seat in the cab of the truck. He then proceeded to take questions from reporters while leaning out of the window.

“How do you like my garbage truck? This truck is in honor of Kamala and Joe Biden,” Trump said.
