Actor On Hit TV Show Dies Unexpectedly At 30: ‘No Explanation’
Mike Heslin, renowned for his role in “Special Ops: Lioness,” has passed away at the age of 30. His husband, Scotty Dynamo, shared the announcement on Instagram this Saturday.
He wrote that Heslin “passed away from an unexpected cardiac event after a week long battle in the hospital. Michael was young, in perfect health, and the doctors have no explanation for what happened.” Heslin was an accomplished actor and writer who was celebrated for his roles in “Lioness” (2023), “The Holiday Proposal Plan” (2023), and “The Influencers” (2020).
“Michael was brilliant, selfless, talented, and a real-life guardian angel. He single-handedly carried me through multiple rounds of cancer. He was the first person everyone would call to share good news with, and he was the perfect person to call if they needed a shoulder to lean on or the best advice,” his husband wrote.
“Just a week ago, we were in the early stages of starting a family and would regularly share our favorite baby names for our future kids.”

“We are 3 weeks away from your birthday and 4 months shy of our 1 year wedding anniversary, but I know that you are in a better place and that heaven has gained another angel,” Dynamo finished.

Heart attacks have been increasingly become a concern in recent years, particularly among younger populations. On a broader scale, the age-adjusted death rate from heart disease has seen an increase, reversing the long-term declining trend in previous years.
The increase in heart attack rates among younger people, particularly noted post-COVID-19 pandemic, is alarming and linked to various factors. During the pandemic, a significant rise in heart attack deaths among younger adults, especially those between 25 to 44 years old, has been observed, with a nearly 30% increase in heart attack deaths over the first two years.
Moreover, lifestyle changes and pre-existing conditions play a significant role in the rising heart attack rates among the young. Factors like high blood pressure, high cholesterol, obesity, diabetes, and smoking are major contributors. These conditions lead to increased inflammation and atherosclerosis (plaque buildup in arteries), which can worsen over time and increase the risk of heart attacks.
