Alex Soros Says The Quiet Part Out Loud After Trump Verdict: ‘Repetition Is The Key’
Alex Soros, the son of billionaire leftist financier George Soros and current manager of the family’s political fundraising, urged Democrats to label former President Donald Trump as a “convicted felon” whenever possible.
“Democrats should refer to Trump as a convicted felon at every opportunity,” Soros wrote in an X post on Friday. Repetition is the key to a successful message and we want people to wrestle with the notion of hiring a convicted felon for the most important job in the country!”
Soros — who has visited the Biden White House at least 17 times — took full control of his father’s vast political funding network last year. “I’m more political,” Alex Soros, 37, told the Wall Street Journal after taking control of the $25 billion network.
He went on to detail his plans to expand the family’s contributions to include voting rights, abortion policy and “gender equality.”
Currently, the Soros-funded Open Society Foundation shells out roughly $1.5 billion annually on left-wing causes. On the explicitly political front, the family-funded Democracy PAC has pumped millions into district attorney races and other law enforcement campaigns.
The younger Soros has also pledged to increase his family’s donations to the Biden Campaign over the next six months, stating that he is very “concerned” about the possibility of former President Donald Trump returning to the White House later this year.
“As much as I would love to get money out of politics, as long as the other side is doing it, we will have to do it, too,” he said.
President Biden’s team is seemingly on the same page as one of the Democratic Party’s main financiers as far as the Trump conviction goes.
While speaking to reporters on Friday, Biden brushed aside the numerous instances of political bias that plagued the case and declared that it is “dangerous” to question the verdict. When asked for comment on Trump’s claims that he is a “political prisoner,” Biden cracked a sinister smirk before making his exit without answering the question.
