Anti-ICE Rioter Who Bit Federal Agent Has Sickening Criminal History
Brendan John Geier, a 26-year-old resident of Madison, New Jersey who allegedly sank his teeth into the arm of a federal agent during violent riots outside the Delaney Hall detention facility in Newark, was previously accused of distributing child pornography.
On the evening of May 28, ICE deportation officers were conducting security and crowd-control operations near the facility. A large group of demonstrators, including Geier, was blocking a roadway used for vehicles entering and leaving the site.
One agent, identified by prosecutors only as Victim-1, moved toward Geier, causing him to lose his balance. Geier allegedly kicked Victim-1 in the leg. In response, the officer struck Geier’s leg with a baton.
Additional officers (Victims 2 and 3) assisted by lifting Geier to remove him from the area. While this was happening, Geier allegedly bit Victim-2 on the forearm and Victim-3 on the knuckle, and also kicked Victim-1 in the forearm.
The Justice Department released gruesome photos of the injuries sustained by officer, one of which clearly showed a full set of teeth embedded within one of the agents’ arms. Geier was arrested and charged by complaint with assaulting federal officers and causing bodily injury. He appeared before U.S. Magistrate Judge Cari Fais last week and was released with conditions including location monitoring, a curfew, and a prohibition on returning to Delaney Hall.
The charge carries a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

According to a report from the New York Post, Geier has a serious criminal record.
On November 9, 2018, authorities executed a search warrant at his dormitory room in Lehigh Hall and seized a laptop and iPhone. Forensic examination reportedly found numerous digital images and videos of suspected child pornography.
On March 12, 2019, Geier was charged with second-degree felony counts of sexual abuse of children related to dissemination and possession of child pornography. He surrendered to Berks County detectives the following day and was released on $25,000 bail.
In 2021, he pleaded guilty to a reduced third-degree charge of criminal use of a communication facility. He was sentenced to two years of probation, ordered to have no contact with anyone under the age of 18, and required to undergo sex offender evaluation and treatment.
