Oscar-winning actor and frontman for the rock band Thirty Seconds to Mars, Jared Leto, is being accused by a number of women who claim he pursued them for a sexual relationship while they were teenagers. Leto has a reputation for left-wing activism and supporting the Democratic Party.

He’s now looking at claims of inappropriate behavior, manipulation, and inappropriate behavior while dating. These allegations go back over 10 years. So far, a total of 9 women have come forward.

One individual, who says she was 16 at the time of the incident, revealed that Leto approached her outside of a cafe in Los Angeles in 2006.

Ashley Olsen says Leto took down her number, called her later that night, and extended an invitation for her to attend parties at his home. Olsen said the calls with the actor often took a turn toward being sexual. She says the “Suicide Squad” actor would ask her explicit questions about her sexual experiences.

Laura La Rue, a model, also recounted the time she met Leto in 2018. She was also 16 at the time. La Rue says Leto asked for her age, learned she was in her teens, and still asked for her number. Communication between the two led to her visiting his home the next year.

La Rue described the actor’s behavior as being like “a game,” teasing her while having full knowledge of her age. During a different visit later on, the model says Leto walked out naked in front of her. She was only 17.

Things get more grotesque from there. Another woman says the Oscar-winning actor exposed himself to her and then forced her to touch him. She was 18 at the time of the incident.

DJ Allie Teilz claims that when she was 17, Leto attempted to sexually assault her when she was 17. Teilz shared this story on social media in 2012. She has reaffirmed her account numerous times.

A spokesperson representing Leto put out a blanket statement denying all the accusations, going so far as to call some of them “demonstrably false.”

“Their communications contain nothing sexual or inappropriate,” the spokesperson remarked in the statement.

“Ms La Rue later applied to work as Mr Leto’s personal assistant, further underscoring the absence of anything inappropriate in any of their interactions,” they continued.

In a post on X dated March 12, 2018, Leto decided to take a shot at President Donald Trump.

“Don’t shoot the messenger but even the people of Switzerland, the most peaceful place on the planet, want to tell you to go f*** yourself,” he said.
