Attack Ad From Team DeSantis Uses Fake AI-Generated Image To Show Trump ‘Hugging’ Fauci

On Thursday, a June 5th video resurfaced from the official “DeSantis War Room” Twitter account that uses fake AI-generated images showing President Trump “embracing” Dr. Fauci. The ad aims to attack Trump for not firing Dr. Fauci sooner, and they use the fake images to attempt to make their point.

The description reads, “Donald Trump became a household name by FIRING countless people *on television*, but when it came to Fauci…”

Ever since launching his campaign, DeSantis has honed in on the Covid issue as his main attack line against Trump.

In May, DeSantis had said Trump “ruined millions of lives” because of his response to Covid. However, video immediately resurfaced showing DeSantis following the CDC guidelines of beach closures in Florida, saying “The party is over in Florida”.

“You’re not going to be able to congregate on any beach in the state. Bars are closed, so you’re not going to have a place to congregate there,” DeSantis said at the time.
