‘Baywatch’ Star Dies At 61 From Apparent Suicide
Pamela Bach, 61, the ex-wife of David Hasselhoff, was found dead Wednesday night at her Los Angeles home in an apparent suicide.
The tragic discovery was made around 10 p.m. after family members, worried because they hadn’t heard from her, went to check on the 61-year-old actress. They found the doors locked and, upon entering, found Bach unresponsive, according to authorities.
Paramedics arrived at the scene after receiving a call about an unconscious woman and pronounced Pamela Bach dead. Authorities found the home locked from the inside, supporting suspicions of a self-inflicted injury. According to TMZ, officials determined she died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
David Hasselhoff, 71, said in a statement, “Our family is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Pamela Hasselhoff. We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time but we kindly request privacy as we grieve and navigate through this challenging time.”
