Biden Admin Tried To Force Texas ERs To Provide Emergency Abortions Over Ban; Judge Says Not So Fast

A federal judge in the great state of Texas decided on Tuesday to drop the proverbial hammer on the Biden administration, blocking them from being able to enforce new guidance in the state that would require emergency rooms to provide abortions to women despite the ban on the barbaric procedure, according to a report from Just the News.

When the Supreme Court announced they were overturning Roe v. Wade a lot of conservatives and pro-lifers became thrilled — which they absolutely should have been — but they soon began to act as if this was the end of the fight. Well, some of them did, not all.

But that, friends, was not the case at all. As we’ve seen over the course of the summer, a huge back and forth skirmish ensuing in states across America in the continuing battle to protect the lives of the pre-born. However, the important word here is “states.”

While Roe was being enforced, abortion was a federal issue and rather difficult to fight against. Now the battlefield has become the states, which is where it should have always been. We have a fighting chance now to see this scourge banned for good and even criminalized appropriately.

But again, we still have much fighting left to do.

According to a release from the office of Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton back in July, “Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton filed a lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services regarding their use of the Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act (EMTALA) to require hospitals to perform abortions. This latest unlawful action by the Biden Administration comes in the face of the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling to overturn Roe v. Wade and the subsequent triggering of Texas’s abortion ban. By this move, the Biden Administration seeks to transform every emergency room in the country into a walk-in abortion clinic. EMTALA does not authorize and has never been thought to authorize the federal government to require emergency healthcare providers to perform abortions.”

“This administration has a hard time following the law, and now they are trying to have their appointed bureaucrats mandate that hospitals and emergency medicine physicians perform abortions,” Paxton went on to say. “I will ensure that President Biden will be forced to comply with the Supreme Court’s important decision concerning abortion and I will not allow him to undermine and distort existing laws to fit his administration’s unlawful agenda.”

One thing that’s been proven to be true beyond a shadow of a doubt ever since Roe fell is that the radical left in this country has created a culture that is enamored with death, selfishness, and pleasure at any cost.

Young people today want as little responsibility as they can get away with. Why work when the government can take care of you with nice, cushy welfare programs? Want to go to college? Don’t worry. We’ll take care of your tuition by paying off your student loans.

The left tells younger individuals it’s the governments job to care for them for life. They deserve to have an easy go of things, one that is devoid of personal responsibility. Go have sex all you want, without protection because hey, it feels better, and don’t worry about the consequences. You can just kill your kid if you get pregnant and get right back to living the good life.

All it will cost you is undying loyalty and obedience to your government. Oh, and your soul too.

Leftists won’t let this go easy, which is why we must persist in pursuing every legal avenue to push abortion out of existence.
