Biden Administration Promises $10 Billion MORE In American Taxpayer Funds To Ukraine

In a not-so shocking move, the Biden Administration has announced just how much more of your taxpayer dollars they will be giving to Ukraine in their war against Russia.

Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen announced on Thursday that Biden’s White House will be activating an additional $10 billion in economic funding to the Ukraine. The Post Millennial reports in contrast that the United States government has sent around $115 to $200 billion in economic and military funding to Ukraine.

“Providing economic assistance has made Ukraine’s resistance possible by supporting the home front, funding critical public services, and helping keep the government running. In the coming months, we expect to provide around $10 billion in additional economic support for Ukraine,” Yellen said during her announcement.

“Putin himself thought he would achieve a victory at minimal cost… One year later, Putin’s war has been a strategic failure for the Kremlin. Ukraine still stands,” Treasury Secretary Yellen went on to say.

This major funding announcement comes on the heels of President Biden’s surprise visit to Ukraine where he announced additional funding and a furthering of their partnership.

Biden claimed during his visit that he would stand by Ukrainian President Zelensky and the country “as long as it takes” and vowed to fund their war efforts against Russia.

Originally Biden claimed that he would not be supplying Abrams tanks to Ukraine claiming that a move like that may provoke WWIII. Despite Biden’s previous claim, the President has since vowed to send them tanks necessary to fight Russia, watch below:

In a separate address, Biden reassured Ukrainians of his partnership with their country saying,  “Kyiv stands and Ukraine stands. Democracy stands. The Americans stand with you and the world stands with you.”
