Bill Maher Turns Heads With Interesting Defense Of Trump’s Access Hollywood Tape

Comedian and political commentator Bill Maher defended former President Trump’s infamous Access Hollywood tape, saying that, “he was trying to say this is the way of the world.”

Maher was discussing celebrity status with Pittsburgh-based rapper Wiz Khalifa, with the rapper stating that he can get any woman he wants. Maher then used the comment to segway to the former president, asking Khalifa if he saw the recent CNN town hall in which Trump was asked about the incident.

Collins referenced the “grab em’ by the p***y” remark when referencing the bizarre civil case brought against Trump by New York-based writer E. Jean Carroll. “I said if you’re famous and rich or whatever I said, but I said if you’re a star, when I said ,- and I said ‘women let you,’ I didn’t say ‘you grab,’ you know, you didn’t use that word. I said ‘women let you,’ Trump said.

“For a million years this is the way it’s been, I wanna be honest, this is the way it’s been,” Trump went on to say.

Maher seemed to agree with Trump’s defense of his comments in the interview with Wiz Khalifa.

“Trump is an amazing man,” Maher said. “I mean, he certainly is loathsome in many ways as I’ve certainly never been short of discussing, but he is kind of – it’s almost like he’s been given sodium Pentothal sometimes. I’m sure that’s what a lot of people love about him. He’s almost incap – he’s both the biggest liar in the world, and he’s incapable of lying.”

“He basically just said what we’re saying, not that I’ve ever grabbed anybody’s pu****s, I’m sure you haven’t either, but when you’re a star and you know this more than I do because this is like the level stuff you’re talking about,” Maher went on to say.

“People will do anything for you,” he continued. “They try to get you the best drugs, they bring women over…It’s not like Trump’s – he was trying to say in his clumsy way, he said, ‘well, for better or for worse,’ I think what he meant is worse for the woman…Point being, he was trying to say this is the way of the world. Stardom mesmerized people, not just women. It makes people go nutty, it does.”
