Black NFL Coach Destroys Woke Reporter’s Question On His Race: ‘We Don’t See Color’

A previously overlooked moment featuring Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles has resurfaced, gaining new relevance in the wake of recent comments by New England Patriots newly hired Head Coach, Jerod Mayo.

The clip captured Bowles’ response to a question about race in the context of NFL coaching. During the press interaction, Bowles was asked about his relationship with other black head coaches in the league, specifically Pittsburgh Steelers’ Mike Tomlin.

“I have a very good relationship with Tomlin. We don’t look at what color we are when we coach against each other. We just know each other,” Bowles stated.

Bowles countered a notion by expressing that the focus should be on individual merit rather than racial identity. “The minute you guys stop making a big deal about it, everybody else will as well,” he remarked.

The clip has gained new traction following recent statements by Patriots Head Coach, Jerod Mayo, who touched upon issues of race and representation in the NFL. “I do see color, because I believe if you don’t see color you can’t see racism,” Mayo said.

Bowles has led the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to a divisional playoff game against the Detroit Lions this weekend.
