BOMBSHELL: Financial Backers Behind The LA Riots Exposed
A stunning report has revealed details on the financial backers fueling anti-ICE protests in Los Angeles.
One of the biggest groups accused of leading the riots is a taxpayer-funded activist organization, and another is linked to the Chinese Communist Party, according to conservative sleuths.
The latter, the Coalition of Humane Immigrant Rights (CHIRLA), received tens of millions of dollars in government grants while Joe Biden was president. CHIRLA staged a rally last week, coming out strong against the Immigration and Customs Enforcement operations arresting illegal migrants all over the city, which included individuals convicted of horrific, violent crimes.
Protests against ICE have turned into full-blown riots featuring over a thousand rioters on the streets. Multiple accounts have emerged of “protesters” assaulting immigration officers, defacing public buildings, and slashing people’s tires, according to information released by the Department of Homeland Security.
This led to President Donald Trump ordering 2,000 National Guard soldiers to be deployed to L.A. to help police get a handle on all of the chaos erupting on the streets.
Financial records were obtained by DataRepublican, revealing that CHIRLA received a whopping $34 million in grants from the government in 2024. This is a $12 million increase from what the group received in 2023.
“The radical group also received around $450,000 in grants for ‘citizenship education and training’ between October 2021 and September 2024 from the DHS — the very agency the group was protesting last week. The federal agency cut ties with the group and terminated any further funding in March, including clawing back nearly $101,000 that had yet to be paid out,” the New York Post reported.
A spokesman for CHIRLA said their organization hasn’t had anything to do with the violent riots. Their claim of innocence was made in a statement published by The Washington Post.
He went on to say that the organization “organized a press event on Thursday” to protest what he referred to as “roundups.” The spokesman continued by saying they have “been sending legal observers to immigration courts and detention centers on Friday, Saturday and today as part of the LA Rapid Response Network.”
“We have not participated, coordinated, or been part of the protests being registered in Los Angeles other than the press conference and rally cited above,” the rep continued.
The second organization allegedly behind the madness is the Marxist Party for Socialism and Liberation. It’s not the first time this group has been involved in causing problems during protests. Many of their past events have been controversial anti-Israeli campus protests at Columbia University.
“PSL has ties to the Chinese Communist Party through funding from socialist billionaire Neville Singham and his wife, Jodie Evans, founder of activist group Code Pink, according to a 2024 report by the Network Contagion Research Institute. Singham sank millions of dollars into backing the groups after selling his software company, ThoughtWorks, for $785 million in 2017,” the report continued.
Back in 2023, The New York Times posted a piece that exposed Singham’s ties to the Chinese government and Communist propaganda. The article focused heavily on his use of his fortune to steer millions of dollars to nonprofits that cheer on China.
