Bombshell Report Exposes ‘Squad’ Democrat’s Alleged ‘Terror Ties’

A sweeping new briefing from a nonpartisan research and policy group is raising alarms over what it calls “serious ethical and national security concerns” tied to Democratic Rep. Rashida Tlaib and her relationships with individuals and organizations linked to designated foreign terrorist groups.

“The conduct of Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib, including her rhetoric, affiliations, campaign infrastructure, and ideological alignment with certain individuals and organizations, raises serious concerns about potential risks to the ethical and institutional integrity of the United States government,” the report states.

The briefing was released by the advocacy and policy arm of the Institute for the Study of Global Antisemitism and Policy and outlines what it describes as a “recurring pattern” in Tlaib’s behavior. That pattern, the authors say, points to an ideological sympathy for radical movements, including appearances at events featuring convicted terrorists and campaign spending tied to activists linked to Hamas and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine.

The report drills into Tlaib’s campaign finances and alleges that her operation funneled large sums to anti-Israel activists. Nearly $600,000 was paid between 2020 and 2025 to Unbought Power, a consulting firm led by Rasha Mubarak, according to the briefing.

Mubarak has previously drawn scrutiny for ties to the Council on American-Islamic Relations, identified as an unindicted co-conspirator in the 2009 Holy Land Foundation terror-financing case, and the Alliance for Global Justice, which has been investigated for alleged connections to the PFLP-linked group Samidoun.

The briefing also highlights Tlaib’s appearances alongside controversial figures. It points to her participation in a conference with Wisam Rafeedie, a convicted PFLP operative who later defended the Oct. 7 Hamas terrorist attack as “resistance.”

“Through public endorsement, co-sponsorship, and amplification, Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib has consistently engaged with a range of organizations known to maintain operational or ideological ties to terrorist networks,” the report states. “Tlaib has engaged with and disseminated the messaging of these groups and has shared related content on social media platforms, has participated in events organized by these groups, and has referenced their terminology and conceptual frameworks in official congressional communications.”

Washington, DC – April 30, 2025: Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) speaks during a protest at the State Department to free student Moshen Mahdawi from ICE custody.

Tlaib has faced similar accusations before. The House has taken formal action against the Michigan Democrat twice in recent years.

She was censured in November 2023 for promoting what lawmakers said were false narratives surrounding the Oct. 7 Hamas attacks. Another resolution was introduced in September 2025 after her appearance at the “People’s Conference for Palestine,” where speakers allegedly “whitewashed” convicted Hamas financiers.

The briefing also flags Tlaib’s rhetoric, accusing her of repeatedly invoking antisemitic “tropes.” It cites an August 2021 event where she referred to “people behind the curtain” profiting from “racism” from “Gaza to Detroit.”

Beyond criticism, the report urges government agencies to take concrete steps.

It calls for a formal congressional investigation into Tlaib’s conduct, including a review of public statements that allegedly align with terrorist groups, her participation in events honoring convicted terrorists and a full examination of her campaign fundraising.

The briefing also asks the Justice Department’s National Security Division to determine whether Tlaib or her associates violated 18 U.S. Code §2339B, which bars providing material support to foreign terrorist organizations.

The Federal Election Commission, the report says, should conduct a forensic audit of Tlaib’s campaign finances, with a focus on donors allegedly tied to terror networks.

“Tlaib’s conduct demonstrates how extremist ideologies can infiltrate mainstream democratic institutions,” the report concludes. “If left unchecked, her actions will continue to legitimize hate.”
