BOOM: DeSantis Wrecks Crist in Debate, Brilliantly Beats Him on Abortion, Transgender Issues

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis just debated his leftie challenger, Charlie Crist, ahead of the upcoming election. As could be expected, DeSantis utterly wrecked Crist, hitting back against Crist by exposing his far-left views and showing that the GOP stance on subjects, particularly contentious cultural issues, is much more in line with what the average, reasonable person wants.

For example, one exchange DeSantis wrecked the “gender affirming care” pushing Crist, exposing the radicalness of letting kids undergo life-altering, generally irreversible surgeries despite not even letting them get tattoos. Watch that here:

As you can hear in the video, DeSantis wrecked Crist, saying:

If you’re a 15 year old, you can’t get a tattoo in the state of Florida. Yet we’re saying you can get a double mastectomy? Of course not, it is inappropriate for to do this for minors and in Florida we’re not going to allow them to happen.

And that was just the beginning. 

In another, very powerful moment in the debate, DeSantis fought back against the idea that abortion is a good thing, proving his point by telling the story of a woman who, some forty years ago, got pregnant, was advised to get an abortion, yet for one reason or another did not go through with it. Against all odds, against the advise of the abortion pushers, she eventually gave birth to a daughter. Stay for the second half and to find out who that daughter turned out to be:

As you can hear in the video, DeSantis, showing who was protected by the woman’s brave decision to not get an abortion, said:

[A] few months ago, I appointed her daughter to be the first Jamaican American justice in the history of the Florida supreme court.

I just think we’re better when everybody counts. I understand not everyone’s going to be born in perfect circumstances, but I would like to see everybody have a shot.

I’m proud of the fifteen weeks that we did. I know Charlie Crist opposes that, even though the baby is fully formed, has a heartbeat, can feel pain, and can suck their thumb.

He also supports sex-selective abortions, whuich is used to discriminate against little girls. He also supports dismemberment abortions, where they will literally tear the baby from limb to limb.

And he also supports taxpayer-funded aboprtion all the way up to the moment of birth, and that is plain wrong.

Boom. Now that’s a powerful story, one that shows how important it is to preserve life, to help everyone be the best they can be rather than snuff out their life before they even leave the womb.

And those two clips were just a few of the more powerful soundbites. DeSantis did that for the whole debate, pushing back on Crist and defending the GOP position on issues with strength and vigor.
