Speaking to Tucker Carlson in an awesome interview, pop star turned apostle of Christ Kanye West spoke out on why he is pro-life and exposed with horror the massive number of babies being aborted in New York City, noting that more black babies are aborted than born in that sewer of a city.
Watch Kanye talk with Tucker here:
As you can watch in the video, Kanye, wearing a picture of an ultrasound in front of his sweatshirt, Kanye explained that picture and his abortion stance, saying “It just represents life. I’m pro-life.” Responding, Tucker then asked him “What kind of response do you get?”
Replying, Kanye didn’t do the normal thing for celebrities caught not bowing to woke dogma and half-heartedly apologize for his position or back away from it for fear of being canceled. Rather, as one could expect of Kanye West, he went all in and not only said that he doesn’t care what people think, but used the opportunity to point out the massive number of black babies aborted in New York City, saying:
“I don’t care about people’s responses, I care about the fact that there’s more black babies being aborted than born in New York City at this point. That 50 percent of black death in America is abortion. So I really don’t care about people’s responses, I perform for an audience of one, and that’s God.”
Though shocking, Kanye’s statistic appears to be true, or at least to have been true at one time. Breitbart News reported on the matter in 2014, noting then that the abortion regime both seemed to mostly draw in black and Hispanic women and that the high abortion rate among blacks meant that more babies were killed via abortion than born in NYC at that time. In its words:
The latest abortion surveillance data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) shows that, in New York City in 2011, 77.56 percent of the abortions performed were black and Hispanic babies.
The results of the CDC data find a total of 76,251 abortions were reported in New York City in 2011, which represents a rate of 42.2 percent. Of the babies aborted, 35,188, or 46.1 percent of the total number, were black, and 23,959, or 31.4 percent, were Hispanic. White babies aborted totaled 9.550, or 12.5 percent.
Breitbart News reported in February that a New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene report found more black babies were killed by abortion in the city than were actually born there in 2012.
Abortion wasn’t all Kanye talked about with Tucker. He also complained about the “liberal Nazis that will go up and attack you,” in the context of his feud with Kim Kardashian and the leftist pop culture figures that have taken her side.
And, perhaps most interestingly, he defended his outspoken support of Trump and recent wearing of a “white lives matter” shirt alongside black Daily Wire host Candace Owens, saying:
“My so-called friends/handlers around me told me if I said that I liked Trump that my career would be over. That my life would be over. They said stuff like people get killed for wearing a hat like that. They threatened my life. They basically said that I would be killed for wearing the hat. I had someone call me last night and said anybody wearing a ‘white lives matter’ shirt is going to be green-lit. That means they are going to beat them up if I wear it. I’m like, you know, ‘Okay, green light me then.’”
