One of the most notable things that Elon Musk has done as CEO of the platform is reveal what stories, users and political figures were strategically banned from the site or at least censored in a way that minimized their presence on the platform.

It was revealed by Elon Musk and through the “Twitter Files” that people such as Charlie Kirk, Dan Bongino, James Woods, Libs of TikTok and many more were all subject to harsh censorship.

These were just a handful of people that were censored by Twitter over the past couple of years and it can be assumed that these instances are only scratching the surface.

Well this is where Kyle Rittenhouse comes into play.

Kyle Rittenhouse took to Twitter to make a very particular request to Elon Musk regarding everything he’s been through and if Twitter had any hand making things worse in his own life.

“Learning about the twitter files and @elonmusk releasing the truth is making me more and more curious to find out if there was hidden censoring regarding my story and case on twitter. I am hoping, one day soon, I will be able to find out and the truth will be shown to all of us,” Rittenhouse wrote online. Check out a copy of the tweet below:

Rittenhouse’s story is a long one but in short, he was acquitted after he faced murder charges for what a jury found to be self defense. The original arrest went down during the heart of the George Floyd riots and caused a massive uproar especially on Twitter which may have led to them censoring Rittenhouse and 2nd Amendment supporters…

It is currently unclear if Elon Musk is planning on releasing any information regarding this topic.

With the censorship currently being revealed by the Twitter Files and Elon Musk many are calling into question why the previous ownership of Twitter would even encourage such a thing as being used in their online space.

One of the issues being called into question is the motive and if there were any outside actors that were carrying out instructions to conduct such policies that Twitter enforced.
