On Thursday, Alec Baldwin was charged for killing a woman on the set of “Rust.”

Baldwin was charged with involuntary manslaughter for killing cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.

Check out what NBC reported:

The film’s armorer who was in charge of weapons on the set, Hannah Gutierrez Reed, was also charged with involuntary manslaughter, according to New Mexico First Judicial District Attorney Mary Carmack-Altwies.

“Rust” first assistant director, David Halls, has agreed to plead guilty to negligent use of a deadly weapon, according to Carmack-Altwies’ office.

Hutchins was fatally shot nearly 15 months ago during the filming of “Rust” at the Bonanza Creek Ranch in New Mexico on Oct. 21, 2021. Baldwin was rehearsing with a pistol for a scene set inside a church when the gun went off, killing Hutchins and wounding the director, Joel Souza.

During a December 2021 interview with George Stephanopoulos of ABC News, Baldwin provided his initial public statement about the shooting death, stating that he did not discharge the weapon. He adamantly denied any responsibility and stated that he did not experience any guilt regarding the event.

“I feel that someone is responsible for what happened, and I can’t say who that is,” he said. “But I know it’s not me.”
