BREAKING: Another Biden Family Member Flagged for Owing Thousands in Taxes

The taxman just delivered a body blow to another member of the Biden family, informing her that she owes thousands of dollars in unpaid back taxes. The revelation, first reported by Fox News, is another indication of the pressure that multiple family members to President Joe Biden are under to profit off his stature and status.

A recent tax lien docket by the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue shows that Ashley Biden, daughter to the president, owes $5,000 for unpaid tax bills accrued between 2015 — when Biden was vice president — and 2021, shortly after he took office again. The notice adds that the “amount of such unpaid tax, interest, additions or penalties is a lien in favor of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania upon the taxpayer’s property – real, personal, or both.”

Liens are attempts by the government to collect revenue owed by taxpayers after multiple attempts. They are typically a weapon of last resort against scofflaws who ignore letters and decline to set up payment plans.

Garrett Ziegler, the founder of nonprofit Marco Polo and former President Trump aide, told Fox News that Ashley Biden’s troubles are another example of the Biden family living above the law.

“The scale is not anything like Hunter, but… Joe is constantly talking about how wealthy and connected people do not pay their fair share and can’t afford to pay more, and it just so happens that both of his living children did not pay their taxes,” he said.

“This is just another example of the Bidens being careless. Like, you’d think that they would show a little bit more prudence when you’re the first when you’re the American first family to make sure you don’t have any tax liens on you, especially going into an election year.”

Ziegler, who founded a website dedicated to publishing scandalous documents and photos found on Hunter Biden’s laptop, said his team uncovered Ashley Biden’s tax bills during a routine examination of family records. He added that he is not a Republican activist looking for a position in any future administration.

“None of us are registered Republicans,” he continued. “In fact, I loved and still love Trump precisely because he wasn’t a standard Republican. So this is not a hit job. We’re going to keep all the photos that paint the Bidens in a good light and keep all the photos that paint the Bidens in a bad light. The American people can judge for themselves what they think about their first family through this.”

Ashley Biden, 42, is the only child between President Biden and First Lady Jill Biden. She has spent her career primarily in the social justice space and currently works for the Delaware Center for Justice, a nonprofit dedicated to carceral reform, according to her LinkedIn profile.

News of tax troubles for another family member may fuel House Republicans’ investigation of financial gain by the family while President Biden served as vice president and in the years that followed. James Biden, the president’s brother, and his wife Sara Biden are the targets of investigatory efforts by House Oversight Chair James Comer (R-KY), who has issued a subpoena demanding the couple explain a $40,000 sum sent to the president and marked as a “loan repayment.” The money was shown to originate from shell companies set up by Hunter Biden and associates to direct money from overseas business deals to other family members.
