BREAKING: Democrat Rep. Launches Impeachment Effort Against Trump

Just over two weeks after President Donald Trump’s return to the White House, a Democrat Congressman has launched an impeachment campaign against him.

Rep. Al Green, a Texas Democrat, introduced the campaign on the House floor Wednesday, saying, “The movement to impeach the president has begun. I rise to announce that I will bring Articles of Impeachment against the president for dastardly deeds proposed and dastardly deeds done.”

Green said the inspiration for the articles of impeachment comes from the Tuesday announcement made by President Trump about the United States taking full ownership of the Gaza Strip and resettling the almost 2 million Palestinians in other countries while developing the land.

“To whom it may concern, ethnic cleansing in Gaza is not a joke, especially when it emanates from the president of the United States — the most powerful person in the world,” Green went on to say after taking the floor of the House.

During Trump’s first term, Green launched three separate efforts to force Congress to impeach Trump. He was accused of running “a rogue campaign” against party leadership’s wishes. Republicans used this as evidence that impeaching Trump in the future was merely partisan politics.

Remembering Trump’s first term in the Oval Office, he was, historically, impeached twice. The first time was by the House in 2019 concerning a phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. However, in 2020, the Senate voted to acquit him of wrongdoing.

He was then impeached for a second time by the House for alleged “incitement of insurrection” concerning the riot at the Capitol building on Jan. 6, 2021.

The purpose of the United States taking over the Gaza Strip is to bring a permanent end to the Israel-Hamas conflict that has now been raging for over 15 months, ever since the horrific terrorist attack on Israel in October 2023.

Trump wants to rework the land and transform it into the “Riviera of the Middle East.” The announcement concerning the new plan for Gaza was announced on Tuesday evening after a long meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

“They’re living under fallen concrete that’s very dangerous and very precarious. They instead can occupy all of a beautiful area with homes and safety, and they can live out their lives in peace and harmony instead of having to go back and do it again,” Trump said during the announcement. “The U.S. will take over the Gaza Strip, and we will do a job with it, too.”
