BREAKING: E. Jean Carroll And Her Lawyer Suggest She Colluded With NY Dems To Create Trump Loophole
During Wednesday’s interview on CNN, E. Jean Carroll and her lawyer suggested that they may have colluded with New York Democrats to create a loophole allowing people to sue for sexual assault cases outside of the 20-year window.
This admission has raised eyebrows among those who have long been skeptical of the political motivations behind her accusations against former President Trump.
According to Carroll’s lawyer, the pair allegedly filed a lawsuit just after midnight on Thanksgiving day last year, taking advantage of the new law that they helped to pass. This news has led some to question the validity of Carroll’s case and the integrity of the legal system in New York as a whole.

Despite the controversy surrounding this admission, Carroll and her lawyer seem unapologetic.
In early 2022, the state of New York passed the Adult Survivors Act which provided a one-year “lookback window” for survivors of sexual assault to assert their claims. The act allowed survivors a chance to file timely claims that would have otherwise been barred by statutes of limitations and/or other notice requirements.
The act applied to around 20 crimes set forth in the New York Penal Law’s sections on sex crimes and incest, including forcible touching, sexual abuse, and rape. Survivors were also able to assert claims against institutions or employers that would have been liable had the claims been timely asserted.
The act was modeled after the Child Victims Act that was passed in 2019. Many survivors are expected to file lawsuits seeking the full remedies that they would be otherwise entitled to seek including economic, compensatory and punitive damages.
On Tuesday, Trump was found liable of battery in the civil suit brought by E. Jean Carroll. However, he was not found liable of rape, a charge Carroll had levied against Trump in her lawsuit.
