BREAKING: Elon Musk Says Journalists Are Posting His “Assassination Coordinates”
Hot on the heels of the recent attempt on his life, Elon Musk announced that a journalist had posted “assassination coordinates” of his real-time location on Twitter, information that well could lead or could have lead to physical harm befalling him. Posting about that, Elon said:
Same doxxing rules apply to “journalists” as to everyone else
They posted my exact real-time location, basically assassination coordinates, in (obvious) direct violation of Twitter terms of service

Elon’s tweet can as a response to Mike Solana, who had drawn attention to why certain journalists were being kicked off of Twitter after Elon’s takeover. Solana said “so far, i’ve been able to confirm about half the accounts suspended posted links to the jet tracker thing in violation of the new doxx’ing policy. unclear just yet about the rest, but i think it’s safe to say the rule is for real.”
Solana’s tweet, in turn, was a quote tweet response to Jon Levine, who had disingenuously suggested that Elon was kicking off journalists for reporting on him, leaving out the fact that those “journalists” were providing real-time data on his location that could be used by assassins or others with foul intents to find and attack Elon:

Elon’s squabble with Levine and kicking those journalists off Twitter comes just one day after a deranged leftist attempted to follow him, but failed when he accidentally trailed the car of “lil X” instead. The motive of the “crazy stalker” is unknown, but it seems not unlikely that the man was bent on injuring or assassinating Elon. Posting about the incident, Elon said:
Any account doxxing real-time location info of anyone will be suspended, as it is a physical safety violation. This includes posting links to sites with real-time location info.
Posting locations someone traveled to on a slightly delayed basis isn’t a safety problem, so is ok.
Last night, car carrying lil X in LA was followed by crazy stalker (thinking it was me), who later blocked car from moving & climbed onto hood.
Legal action is being taken against Sweeney & organizations who supported harm to my family.

While Elon has taken action to deplatform those who were sharing such potentially harmful information about his whereabouts, doxxing remains a problem on Twitter. The Libs of TikTok account, the owner of which was doxxed by Taylor Lorenz of the New York Times, posted about that problem as a comment on one of Elon’s tweets, saying:
Dear @elonmusk, there are still many tweets up that have my address and addresses associated with me. Every time I report them I’m told it doesn’t violate the rules. Why aren’t those being suspended?
While conservatives cheered Elon’s attempt to keep doxxing off Twitter, or at least start fighting back against it, leftists predictably freaked out over “free speech” (after losing their minds at the idea he might lighten up on the Twitter censorship), with one account, for example, saying “Real, credentialed journalists must report on what they’re asked to report on. That’s their thing. Come on. This is silly.” But such comments were bashed to bits by more reasonable people, with that particular comment drawing an epic “Cope and seethe you parasite” response.

Elon later added more details about what Twitter’s new anti-doxxing policy is, saying:
Criticizing me all day long is totally fine, but doxxing my real-time location and endangering my family is not
Accounts engaged in doxxing receive a temporary 7 day suspension
That string of comments came as a response to a screenshot of a post by Taylor Lorenz, the journalist that doxxed the Libs of TikTok, on Mastadon, a leftist Twitter alternative:
