Mike Lindell, Inventor and CEO of MyPillow, has mobilized his team at their corporate headquarters and distribution center in support of the victims of Hurricane Ian in Fort Meyers, Florida. Mike and his team are donating 20,000 MyPillows to those affected as well as blankets and children’s Bible pillows.
A tractor trailer rig full of the number one selling item from the Minnesota based pillow manufacturer is set to pull out of their docks and hit the highway for Fort Meyers today. Mike and his team have been reading stories of the families affected by the destruction and chaos of the hurricane and immediately saw an opportunity to help.
Knowing that these families are in a state known for the great leadership of Ron DeSantis it’s very likely that getting assistance from the Biden Administration, who has shown repeated criticism and opposition to the policies and actions of the Governor, will be difficult. That’s why Mike Lindell knew he had to step up and support a great Conservative state in their time of need.
The MyPillow team plan to leave as quickly as possible, with the intent to arrive at Fort Meyer with the shipment of pillows. With roads still under construction and hundreds of linemen and cleanup crews helping to rebuild, this token of support from a great American will hopefully help ease the pain of the most vulnerable.
This is not the first time that MyPillow has stepped up to support those in need. Most recently, Mike and his team donated thousands of pillows to the trucker convoy protests in Ottawa, Ontario. In 2017, the team rushed 100,000 pillows to Texas in support of those affected by the devastation of hurricane Harvey.
Mike Lindell was quoted at the time of the trucker convoy as saying, “For them, it’s such a blessing to be able to… get good sleep or to get help sleeping,” Lindell said. “A lot of them don’t have beds, they’re sleeping in cars, shelters, etc… It’s a little relief for the people to at least be able to have some little comfort.”
