BREAKING: MTG Roasts Swalwell For Sleeping With Chinese Spy During Hearing

In 2020, Democratic member of the House Intelligence Committee, Rep. Eric Swalwell, confirmed his past relationship with a woman named Fang Fang (or Christine Fang), who was suspected of being a Chinese intelligence operative.

On Wednesday, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene hilariously roasted Swalwell after he spoke during a congressional hearing, saying, “That was quite entertaining from someone that had a sexual relationship with a Chinese spy. And everyone knows it!”

“I move to take our words down. Completely inappropriate,” Swalwell quickly said in a panic.

Swalwell was then asked to repeat the words he wanted to take off the record, to which he replied “Everything that the gentlelady from Georgia has said.”

“You need to be more specific,” the chair said.

After minutes of deliberation, the statement wasn’t even taken down!

“For those members who are wondering, we are looking into rule, clause one of rule 17 of Okay. Okay, the chair rules that those words that were spoken are not going to be stricken from the record.”

Greene’s comments toward Swalwell represent another embarrassment for the Californian in what has been a rough week so far.

Just yesterday, Fox News host Tucker Carlson criticized Congressman Eric Swalwell for luxury travel to Miami, New York, and other places paid for by his campaign donors. Carlson referenced Swalwell’s past relationship with Christine Fang, an alleged Chinese spy, and joked about his spending habits.

Chadwick Moore, a contributor at The Spectator, joined Carlson to discuss the congressman’s spending, citing large amounts spent on hotels and speculating about his activities in different cities.
