REPORT: ‘Female’ Nashville Shooter is Transgender ‘He/Him’

The Nashville school shooter has been revealed to be Audrey Hale, a member of the transgender community who identified as “he/him” on their LinkedIn profile. Reports indicate that Hale was a biological female and had previously attended a Christian school. Additionally, the Instagram account “creative.aiden” associated with the shooter has been deleted.

UPDATE: Police have confirmed Audrey Hale as transgender as well as a former student of the school. Watch below:

One of the policeman on the scene even described the shooter as “female-like.”

Hale was reportedly a graphic designer. Her “about me” read the following:

NBC confirmed:

A heavily armed woman who gunned down three children and three staff members at a Nashville school on Monday appears to be a former student of the private Christian campus, police said.

Nashville police initially described the shooter at The Covenant School as a teenager before, minutes later, calling her a 28-year-old woman who lives in the city.

The shooter was identified as Audrey Hale, a Nashville resident, three law enforcement officials briefed on the matter told NBC News.

REACTIONS:

On Monday, an active shooter was reported at Covenant School located at Covenant Presbyterian Church. The shooter was confronted by the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department (MNPD) and has been confirmed deceased.

Nashville Fire Department tweeted, “We are responding to an active aggressor at 33 Burton Hills Blvd Covenant School. We can confirm we have multiple patients.Parents coming to the school should go to 20 Burton Hills at this time. this is an active scene.”

Metro Nashville Police confirmed “An active shooter event has taken place at Covenant School, Covenant Presbyterian Church, on Burton Hills Dr. The shooter was engaged by MNPD and is dead.
