BREAKING: Reports Appear To Reveal Minnesota Shooter’s Gender Identity

Online reports about the identity of a Minnesota shooter are beginning to paint a picture of an individual struggling with gender dysmorphia and a history of violent rhetoric.

Robin Westman, a biological man who was living as a woman, has been implicated in Wednesday’s shooting at a Catholic church in Minneapolis, where at least two people are dead and more than a dozen children have been wounded. The church serves a K-8 school that just began its school year two days ago.

In a YouTube video that has since been deleted, Westman appears to show off an array of firearms he recently purchased, both handguns and long guns, next to a manifesto that may lay out his reasoning for allegedly opening fire around 8:30 a.m. local time.

The 11-minute video opens with a “note to my family” that Westman appears to flip through while laughing to himself.

“Hope you can read that,” he reads. “Peace, love, unity, and guns. F*** God.”

According to Police Chief Brian O’Hara, the shooter fired approximately 30 rounds from outside the building, striking children and parishioners seated inside. “The sheer cowardice of firing into a church full of children is absolutely incomprehensible,” he said.

Two children, ages 8 and 10, were killed instantly as bullets tore through the windows and into the congregation. Seventeen other people were injured, including 14 children. Two of the young victims remain in critical condition.

“I have wanted this for so long. I am not well,” Westman allegedly writes in his note.

“I am a sad person, haunted by these thoughts that do not go away. I know this is wrong but I can’t seem to stop myself.”

Westman allegedly explains that suicidal thoughts compelled him to open fire on parishioners and children.

“I am severely depressed and have been suicidal for years,” the note in the video states. “Only recently have I lost all hope and decided to perform my final action against this world. I don’t want to kneel down for the injustices of this world. I want to die. I’d rather die on my feet than live on my knees, constantly in pain.”
