Moments ago, the Tennessee House of Representatives voted to expel a far-left Democratic state lawmaker after he led a mob of anti-gun activists to storm the state capitol last week. The videos showed the Tennessee Rep leading chants that threatened “NO PEACE” if “no action” was taken.

According to reports, the official vote wasn’t even close, with the finally tally being 72-25 to expel Rep. Justin Jones. The house is also considering ousting Democratic Reps. Gloria Johnson and Justin Pearson for their participation in the storming of the capitol.

Here’s more from Fox News:

“They’ve just decided to expel one of the three Democrats, Representative Justin Jones, from his duty as a representative, representing about 80,000 people. So he’s out. There’ll be more debate over the other two who disrupted proceedings about one week ago, but it’s likely to follow the same vote,” said the Fox News reporter.

“This vote wasn’t even close,” he added. “About 72 to 25, more than the two-thirds needed. So for a rules violation, Tennessee state representatives deciding to expel the first of three Democrats, likely as the night goes on to expel the other two as well, using their supermajority to expel people for rules violations. It’s not clear how this is going to be received by the crowd outside. In the gallery there were shouts, angry shouts. This is a Republican supermajority and they are certainly flexing their muscle today
