BREAKING: US Consulate Hit By Iranian Drone
A massive explosion near the U.S. Consulate in Dubai rattled nerves across the Middle East as fears of a broader regional war intensified.
Dubai authorities confirmed a drone-related incident near the U.S. Consulate that sparked a fire but said emergency crews quickly brought the situation under control.
“Dubai authorities have confirmed that a fire resulting from a drone-related incident near the US Consulate has been successfully contained. Emergency teams responded immediately. No injuries have been reported,” the Dubai Media Office said in a statement.
Officials said there were no injuries.
Videos circulating on X purport to show a suspected Iranian attack drone slamming into the U.S. Consulate compound, igniting a fireball. Authorities have not confirmed the authenticity of the footage.
The blast in Dubai came as tensions across the Gulf region surged following U.S. and Israeli strikes on Iranian targets over the weekend.

In Saudi Arabia, the U.S. Embassy in Riyadh was struck by two drones early Tuesday, sparking a limited fire and causing minor damage to the compound, according to Saudi officials. No injuries were immediately reported, but the incident prompted a shelter-in-place order for Americans in the kingdom.
The strike in Riyadh underscored growing concerns that U.S. diplomatic posts are increasingly vulnerable as Iran widens its retaliation campaign.
The U.S. Mission to Saudi Arabia urged Americans in Riyadh, Jeddah and Dhahran to shelter in place and avoid the embassy until further notice. Officials also restricted non-essential travel to military installations in the region as security conditions worsened.
The attacks unfolded amid a broader wave of Iranian counterstrikes following the launch of Operation Epic Fury, a coordinated U.S.-Israeli military campaign targeting Iranian assets.
Missiles were also fired toward Israel, setting off air raid sirens across the country, while the United Arab Emirates reported intercepting ballistic missiles. Bahrain likewise sounded alarms as the regional fallout expanded.
Hours before the embassy strike in Riyadh, U.S. officials had already warned Americans to leave several Middle Eastern countries, including Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq, the UAE, Kuwait, Lebanon, Qatar, Oman, Syria, Yemen and Jordan, citing serious safety risks as the security picture rapidly deteriorates.
