BREAKING: VP Biden’s Office Exchanged Over 1,000 Emails With Hunter’s Firm

Hunter Biden’s business firm, Rosemont Seneca Partners, exchanged over 1,000 emails with then-Vice President Joe Biden’s office, according to the New York Post. Hundreds of those emails remain inaccessible to the public due to executive privilege asserted by the White House. 861 such emails mentioning Rosemont Seneca held by the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) were now accessible to the public following America First Legal’s release of these messages yesterday. Still, 200 emails remain hidden based on the White House’s refusal to release them on the basis of executive privilege.

NARA told America First Legal that the 200 emails  if released “would disclose confidential advice between the President and his advisors, or between such advisors.” All these emails are evidence of an extensive and frequent network of communication between Hunter Biden and his business associates on the one hand and Joe Biden and his Office of the Vice President in the Obama White House on the other.

America First Legal summarized this network by writing, “The sheer volume of emails exchanged between Hunter and his associates at Rosemont Seneca and the Office of the Vice President is telling in itself.”

They observed, “The vast majority of these emails consisted of direct communications between Rosemont Seneca employees, including Hunter Biden, and the Office of the Vice President.”

This network stood in marked contrast to Joe Biden’s previous ramblings about his relationship to his son and his business. “Contrary to Joe Biden’s claim that there is an “absolute wall between the personal and private, and the government,” the White House asserted executive privilege to withhold 200 emails in their entirety because ‘Release would disclose confidential advice between the President and his advisors, or between such advisors,’” wrote America First Legal.

The legal firm maintained, “Even though Hunter had no official role in the Obama-Biden Administration, he was intimately involved in planning for high-profile White House events, including the January 2011 China State Luncheon, the June 2011 State Arrival Ceremony for German Chancellor, the March 2012 United Kingdom State Dinner and Visit, the May 2013 Turkey State Luncheon, and the 2014 France State Dinner.”

America First Legal also noted, “Hunter Biden and his associates at Rosemont Seneca also frequently used the Biden name to gain access to the White House…On December 18, 2013, lobbyist Doug Davenport reached out to Hunter’s business partner, Eric Schwerin, for last-minute tickets for a Christmas White House tour for his “guy from Apple.” Even those familiar with Rosemont Seneca knew that they had unmatched access to the Obama-Biden White House.”

The legal firm cited numerous other instances displaying the close nature of Hunter Biden and his business with his father. They concluded from this evidence that “These records further confirm that there was never a wall between the Office of the Vice President and Hunter Biden; in fact, there was extensive commingling between them.”

Collin Rugg, a conservative commentator, satirically wrote, “I’m sure they were just talking about the weather and grandkids! … Nothing to see here, folks.”

He also predicted the next train of defense by the White House.
