BUCKLE UP: Colorado’s Liberal Secretary of State Just Ordered Recount Of Boeberts Tight Midterm Victory
Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold, a Democrat, has put out an order for a mandatory recount in the state’s third district Wednesday after a very, very close midterm election race took place between incumbent GOP Rep. Lauren Boebert and challenger Adam Frisch, a Democrat.
The left is desperate to hold on to every seat they possibly can, especially when those seats are being snapped up by MAGA Republicans who have been inspired to run for office by former President Donald Trump, championing many of his causes and policy positions. Because in the frail minds of the left, anyone who dares to want to put their own country first has to be some psychopathic domestic terrorist. Or, at the least, a racist.
The Hill is reporting, “The secretary’s office officially announced the recount, required because the vote differential between Boebert and Frisch is within 0.5 percent of the leading incumbent’s total portion of votes, this week amid large-scale expectations that it would occur. Colorado law calls for a recount whenever the differential is within that small margin of the winner’s total vote. Boebert won last month’s midterm election with 50.08 percent of the vote to Frisch’s 49.92 percent, with the Democrat conceding the race.”
Boebert pulled in 550 more votes than Frisch, for a total of 163,842 to 163,292. That really is a very close race. However, as of now, it seems to lean in favor of Boebert, who is a stalwart for freedom, liberty, and the Constitution.
“The results of the District 3 race reinforce the fact that every vote matters,” Griswold revealed in a statement. “Colorado voters have made their voices heard, and I am ordering this recount in accordance with Colorado law to confirm the will of the voters.”
All of the 27 counties in the state’s third district will now recount ballots and have the new results finished by Dec. 13 per Colorado law.
Boebert declared victory in the race back on Nov. 17, going on to maintain that the mandatory recount wouldn’t change her winning margin. Let’s hope she’s right about that. We most definitely do not need another liberal in Congress.
“Come January, you can be certain of two things: I will be sworn in for my second term as your congresswoman and Republicans can finally turn Pelosi’s House back into the people’s House,” the close ally to former President Trump remarked at the time, going on to add that her campaign team lawyers would “definitely” make sure the recount is done right.
Frisch, who is a former city councilman, actually conceded the race to Boebert the next day, going on to agree that a recount is not likely going to change the outcome of the race.
“While I am fully supportive of the recount process, based on the history of Colorado recounts, I could not, in good faith, perpetuate false hope that there is a good chance of the recount changing the outcome of this election,” Frisch stated on Thursday after the secretary of state’s recount announcement. “When I launched this campaign, I promised to run this race with integrity because that is who I am.”
Boebert has been ruthlessly mocked by the trolls on the radical left, who have made rude comments about her, saying that if she lost the election, she’d probably turn to do porn or open up an account on OnlyFans. Because that’s the kind of classless nonsense that spews forth from the mouths of those who claim to be all about supporting women.
More hypocrisy, what a surprise.
