Carrie Underwood’s Tennessee Home Catches Fire

Firefighters successfully and quietly put out a fire at Carrie Underwood’s property in Williamson County weeks ago. The fire occurred just after 9:30 p.m. in the rural Pinewood community, west of Leiper’s Fork. Given the secluded nature of Underwood’s home, Williamson County Fire Rescue mobilized all eight of its stations to tackle the fire.

Underwood was at home with her 44-year-old husband, Mike Fisher, their sons Isaiah, 9, and Jacob, 5, along with their pets when the fire occurred.

Officials from WKRN News 2 reported that responding fire crews navigated a lengthy road and driveway to reach Underwood’s main residence. Upon arrival, they encountered a significant fire engulfing the property’s garage. Fortunately, the presence of a 10,000-gallon water tank on the property enabled firefighters to swiftly control the blaze without the delay of establishing a water supply in the remote area.

After extinguishing the initial flames, firefighters continued to monitor the scene for several hours, addressing recurring flare-ups within the walls and other hot spots.

“At 9:42 Station 21 was dispatched to a fire alarm in their district,” Williamson County Fire/Rescue wrote on Facebook on June 16. “Almost immediately the call was upgraded to a structure fire. Crews from all eight of our stations responded. Fairview Fire provided a tanker and crew as well. Upon arrival, 1401 found flames coming from the garage. Crews were able to knock down the fire quickly to prevent spread into the house.”

A spokesperson for Underwood said in a statement, “There was a fire on the property on Sunday night, which was quickly contained. There was no fire damage to the primary residence, and the family and their pets were unharmed.”

The family resides in a custom-built home that is designed to suit their lifestyle, complete with plenty of space for their children and pets to play. Nashville, being the heart of the country music scene, is a fitting home for Underwood, who is one of country music’s most prominent figures.

The singer recently decided to take a break from her tour. After wrapping up her recent show in New York on June 21, she won’t hit the stage again until her Chicago concert on July 14. She is using the three-week break to focus on family.

“Had a day off with the fam in PA today, so we popped down to @hersheypark for some rides, fun and food! The boys had SUCH a BLAST!!! They took such great care of us…and after the park, we went over to #ChocolateWorld to make our own #Hershey bars, learn about making chocolate and drink some milkshakes. I cannot be more impressed with the staff of both places!!! This will DEFINITELY be on our list of places to come back to! Thanks #HersheyPark and @hersheyschocolateworld for making our family time special!” she wrote on Instagram.
