Chicago Mayor Puts Out Awkward Dancing TikTok, Meanwhile, People Are Dropping Like Flies In the Streets

Radical leftists have a bit of a reputation for being out of touch with the average, normal American that they are supposed to be representing in various levels of government. However, Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot is taking things to a brand new level with a recent TikTok of her doing some kind of weird dance, all the while people are dropping like flies in the streets of her city due to gun violence.

But while Lightfoot is cutting these gems for the general public, which is clearly a great use of tax dollars because it’s not like taking a few hours to waste on creating whatever the heck that video was could have been used to tackle the issue of crime in Chicago, right?

And, you know, how in the world is there so much gun violence in a city that has some of the country’s most strict gun control laws? It’s almost like the bad guys don’t much care for law and are just doing what they want to do anyway. How are they getting their weapons? Surely it can’t be from the black market, can it?

According to Not the Bee, “Chicago has a police budget of $1.7 billion dollars, but dozens of people getting shot over the weekend is just the norm now. Unfortunately, that includes toddlers riding in their carseats.”

A report from Fox News revealed:

Chicago saw another bloody weekend, with 34 people shot, including a 3-year-old boy fatally shot in an officer-involved shooting that left a suspect dead.

“We’ve seen children shot across this city in ridiculous numbers,” Chicago Police Deputy Chief Larry Snelling said, according to WLS. “When did we become a society where we stop caring about the children?”

Among the children shot and killed this weekend was 3-year-old Mateo Zastro, who was riding in a car with his mom and three siblings when gun shots struck him during a suspected road rage incident at about 8:30 on Friday night.

There’s a reason that one of the nation’s greatest cities has become one of its deadliest, and without beating around the bush, it’s due to the failed policies of leftist Democrats, who have had decades to turn the city around, but have done nothing other than grow their own power and pockets fat.

Liberals care more about the rights of the criminals than they do the rights of the victims. And that’s the bottom line.

“Another child, an unidentified 7-year-old, was shot in the leg while heading to church on Sunday with his family. A family member saw a person going through his parked car and confronted him before the suspect fired a gun in the family’s direction, according to WLS. The boy is expected to recover, according to local reports, and the suspect was apprehended,” Fox News reported.

Children should not be getting shot up in the streets. And true leadership would never allow such a phenomenon to continue, let alone make TikToks while its happening.

Lightfoot is taking a play from Nero and essentially playing the fiddle while Rome burns.
