Chuck Todd And Ron Johnson Get Into Heated On Air Battle: “Go Back On Your Partisan Cable Cocoon”

NBC host Chuck Todd and Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson recently had a debate on air that is now going viral due to its intense nature…

The two sparred during Sunday’s edition of “Meet The Press” in which the Senator from Wisconsin called out the mainstream media’s blatant bias when covering stories regarding Hunter Biden.

Johnson first mentioned the continous investigations of Hunter Biden which are being handled by Iowa Republican Senator Chuck Grassley before Chuck Todd attempted to probe Johnson about the crimes that Hunter Biden committed.

“I’ve yet to see anybody explain … It is not a crime to make money off of your last name,” the Meet The Press host lashed back.

“Chuck, you ought to read the Marco Polo report, where they detail all kinds of potential crimes,”  Senator Johnson said citing the 634 page report that entirely lays out the malpractice Hunter Biden conducted.

“Let me stop you there … Potential is innuendo. That’s why you do investigation!” Chuck Todd exclaimed trying to fight back against Senator Johnson.

“Chuck, is it a crime to be soliciting and purchasing prostitution in potentially European sex trafficking operations?” Ron Johnson said in response.

“Is that a crime? Because Chuck Grassley and I laid out about $30,000 paid by Hunter Biden to those types of individuals over December of 2018, 2019, about $30,000. That’s about the same time that President Biden offered to pay about $100,000 of Hunter Biden’s bills. I mean, again, that’s just some information. I don’t know exactly if it’s a crime,” Ron Johnson went on to say.

Chuck Todd then went on defense bringing up Jared Kushner’s role in the White House and business deals he made with Qatar while Trump was in the White house. Todd continued to press Johnson saying that he should be just as outraged about Kushner.

“I’m concerned about getting to the truth, I don’t target individuals,” Senator Johnson responded.

“You don’t? You’re targeting Hunter Biden multiple times on this show, senator. You’re targeting an individual,” Chuck Todd said in response.

“Chuck, you know, part of the problem – and this is pretty obvious to anybody watching this – is you don’t invite me on to interview me. You invite me on to argue with me. You know, I’m just trying to lay out the facts that certainly Sen. Grassley and I uncovered,” Johnson said getting angry with the host.

“Part of the reason our politics are inflamed is we do not have an unbiased media. We don’t. It’s unfortunate.”

Chuck Todd did not leave those comments alone and instead took a more inflammatory approach to combatting the Senator in saying: “Look, you can go back on your partisan cable cocoon and talk about media bias all you want … I understand it’s part of your identity.”
