Critics Rip Into Stacey Abrams Over Ridiculous Attack On Georgia Sheriffs During Debate

Critics ripped into Democratic gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams on Sunday after she made a claim that 107 sheriffs in the state of Georgia want the ability to “take black people off the streets” during a debate. Once again, the left wing’s obsession with creating racism where none exists comes flying out into the forefront of their attempt to win elections. This is a desperate strategy that more and more Americans are growing tired of being subjected to. Most of us view each other as people and judge one another based on the content of our character and actions, not skin color.

“I’m not a member of the good ol’ boys club. So, no. I don’t have 107 sheriffs who want to be able to take Black people off the streets, who want to be able to go without accountability. I don’t believe every sheriff wants that, but I do know that we need a governor who believes in both defending law enforcement but also defending the people of Georgia,” Abrams went on to say during the debate.

According to Fox News, “Republican Gov. Brian Kemp said during the debate that Abrams doesn’t support law enforcement and that she supports defunding the police, before touting his support from 107 sheriffs across the state of Georgia.”

During the last debate between the candidates, the two engaged in a back-and-forth concerning the issues of police, guns, and voter suppression. What’s hilariously ironic is that Abrams has alleged voter suppression is why she lost the last election. Yet, with a straight face, the left has condemned any conservative who dares to question the final results of the 2020 presidential race. Seems like a double standard.

GOP communicator Matt Whitlock posted a reaction to the exchange on Twitter saying, “what in the world?”

Jake Schneider of the Republican National Committee went on to state that Abrams is “getting desperate.” Abrams, along with Sen. Raphael Warnock, also a Georgia Democrat, made an appearance with former President Barack Obama at a campaign rally on Friday.

Notice they aren’t making appearances with President Joe Biden? His approval rating is so abysmal that a lot of Democrats want nothing to do with the man. They already have an uphill battle. Being seen with Biden would just make things that much more difficult for them in their respective races.

Jason Hopkins, an investigative associate at the Immigration Reform Law Institute, commented saying the statement from Abrams was “deeply offensive.”

“She’s citing racism for her lack of support from the law enforcement community,” he added.

Abrams and a whole lot of Democrats across the country are starting to enter panic mode as the midterm elections draw closer, this being the final week before voters head to the polls. Numbers are not looking so good for the left, as more and more folks express their displeasure with the economic policies of the Biden administration.

Inflation is at an all-time high. The price of gas is astronomical. People are being forced to live paycheck to paycheck and the middle class is disappearing at an alarming rate, falling into the ever-expanding pit of poverty. This is the America of the Democrats.

It’s not a pretty picture.

And voters are now ready to stop the madness.

Let’s hope for that red tsunami.
