Legendary comedian Dave Chappelle gave an unexpected yet hilarious response to a question about what he will do if former President Trump is elected once again in 2024.

“What the f**k you gonna do if Trump gets re-elected!” a member of the audience shouted at Chappelle during a recent stand-up performance. “Uh, what am I gonna do if Trump gets re-elected?” the comedian replied before a giving a short pause.

“Probably get a significant tax break,” Chappelle then quipped, drawing laughs and applause.

Chappelle has found himself in the crosshairs of far-left pressure campaigns and scorned activists quite frequently over the last two years.

The legendary comic — whose humor has always poked fun at members of all groups and ethnicities — was the subject of a cancel culture campaign in late 2021 after making jokes about transgenderism. “Gender is a fact. Every human being in this room, every human being on Earth, had to pass through the legs of a woman to be on Earth. This is a fact,” Chappelle said in his The Closer comedy special.

Activists soon began protesting Chappelle’s performances and called for a boycott of The Closer. The Chappelle’s Show creator was labeled as a “TERF,” a term frequently used by far-left activists that stands for “Trans Exclusionary Radical Feminist.”

“This is not only about people’s feelings getting hurt or political correctness, this is about the threats of violence that people in the trans community face every single day,” one protester told reporters at the time, adding that Chappelle’s comments will “lead to violence” against transgender individuals.

Most recently, Chappelle enraged far-left activists by posting a photo with U.S. Reps. Laruen Boebert (R-CO) and Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) while visiting Congress last week.

“Just three people who understand that there’s only two genders,” Boebert wrote in a caption next to a photo of the group.
