“Declared War”: GOP Rep Sounds Alarm on Concerning Connection Between Cartels and the CCP

Though many Americans know how horrible and dangerous of a drug the fentanyl that cartels smuggle across the nearly open border into the US is, few know from where it comes and what enemy nation is behind it being smuggled into the United States.

You see, while the cartels are the ones who make the final step and smuggle the society-rotting, killer drug across the border, it’s Red China that is the genesis of the process, sending the precursor chemicals that would otherwise be difficult to obtain to the bloodthirsty cartels in Mexico.

Evidence of that comes from a recent DEA report that notes that while some of the flow of fentanyl from Red China to the cartels is slowing, it is still one of the main countries supplying the precursor chemicals to the cartels, saying:

Currently, China remains the primary source of fentanyl and fentanyl-related substances trafficked through international mail and express consignment operations environment, as well as the main source for all fentanyl-related substances trafficked into the United States. Seizures of fentanyl sourced from China average less than one kilogram in weight, and often test above 90 percent concentration of pure fentanyl.

Well, while the China doves within the government, many of whom have extensive investment interests in Red China, have an obvious interest in playing that down, some members of the legislature are brave enough to call out the Red Chinese for their cartel connection and their being the source of America’s fentanyl trouble.

One such GOP Rep is Rep. Brian Babin. He recently appeared on the “Just the News, Not Noise” podcast and argued that the Red Chinese and their cartel friends have effectively declared war on the US by shipping such poison across the borders, saying:

The cartels and the Chinese communists have declared war. I think it’s chemical warfare against the United States of America and there should be some real accountability for both of those entities.

And Rep. Babin has good cause to call it “chemical warfare.” In fact, the flow of fentanyl is killing far more Americans than the terrorists we spent years and trillions of dollars fighting ever did. As Rep. Babin put it:

“Roughly 300 Americans a day are dying from these drugs coming in through the cartels and emanating from China. It is horrible.”

300 a day! That’s a 9/11 or Pearl Harbor every few weeks, a massive, continual attack on the United States. And yet our feckless leaders do little to combat it or deal with the source of the trouble.

Emphasizing the danger of the drug and why it must be confined to its legitimate use, he also said:

“Fentanyl is a drug that belongs in the operating room. It certainly doesn’t belong on the streets. It certainly doesn’t belong in a capsule or a tablet disguised as another drug to be taken by some unsuspecting person. You could be thinking you’re taking a Tylenol and the next thing you know you’re overdosing and dying on fentanyl.”
