Democrat activist and guitarist Steven Van Zandt called for the “genocide” of Republicans, referring to them as “cockroaches.” On Sunday, the Sopranos star shared the Tweet prior to his performance with Bruce Springsteen in Long Island, New York.
“Outrageous doesn’t begin to describe the actions of these Republican White Supremicist scumbag cowards and pu****s that need guns to feel like real men,” Van Zandt wrote.
“Gen Z, Gen Y, Gen X, will unite to exterminate these cockroaches once and for all,” he finished.
The actor and musician has since deleted the tweet.
So, why did you delete this @StevieVanZandt?
“Exterminate the (Republican) cockroaches”?? Huh.

REACTIONS:
If this upsets you, hopefully you’re equally upset by actual elected leaders instigating actual violence. But of course you’re not calling them out.

Yeah, someone who calls for the “extermination” of another is totally fine and normal, right? Can’t believe where this country is headed.
