Elon Musk Brings Out The Receipts, Shuts Down Scandalous Rumors

Elon Musk shot down speculation that he’s living in a fugue state fueled by illicit drugs, producing proof that he’s presently living life with a clear head.

Musk, who left the White House on poor terms last month, was the subject of a scandalous New York Times story alleging he carried around a black suitcase of narcotics, including ketamine and ecstasy, as he strode by the side of President Donald Trump and launched the nascent U.S. Department of Government Efficiency.

In the article, reporters cite unnamed sources who claim to have seen Musk popping Adderall pills and heard him claiming that his use of ketamine, prescribed by a doctor for a mood disorder, was so heavy that it was affecting his bladder.

But in a one-word social media post, the X owner refuted those allegations, writing simply “lol” and posting a transcript of his latest drug test showing he has none of the alleged pharmaceuticals in his bloodstream. Some of the tests included searches for barbiturates, cocaine, ketamine, ecstasy, and amphetamines.

The admission, made around 3:45 a.m., received mixed reviews from followers who questioned the need for Musk to respond to anonymous critics following his departure from government. Still, the test provides him ammunition to dismiss the rumors.

Both Musk and Trump have made ginger moves toward patching up their messy relationship, which soured after Musk began to publicly criticize the president’s signature tax bill. After the story of Musk’s alleged drug use came out, he accused Trump of withholding files in the Jeffrey Epstein investigation, suggesting he was somehow implicated in the late pedophile’s abuse of young girls.

Within days, however, Vice President J.D. Vance and White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles moved to talk Musk out of his worst instincts, and days later, he posted a short message expressing regret for “some” of his anti-Trump posts.

“I regret some of my posts about President @realDonaldTrump last week. They went too far,” the Tesla founder wrote.

Asked for his reaction, the president said it was “nice” of his former advisor to publicly apologize. Aides said he spoke with Musk just a few days before the apology was posted.

The night after he spoke with Vance and Wiles, some of the Musk’s most inflammatory social media posts began to disappear. One of the deleted posts alleged the connection between Trump and Epstein.

Not long after, Musk was sharing posts from Trump critical of California Gov. Gavin Newsom for his handling of the Los Angeles riots.

A feud first began after Trump vetoed Musk’s man to head up NASA, who was found to have a history of donating to Democrats. Musk excused the donations as part of doing business, but Sergio Gor, the director of personnel for the White House, maintained that the nominee couldn’t be trusted.
