FACT CHECK: Viral ‘Pronoun’ Campaign Against Collin Rugg Proven to be False

On Tuesday, left-wing Twitter users began circulating an image of conservative Twitter user Collin Rugg with ‘He/Him’ pronouns in his LinkedIn bio.

BACKGROUND:

On Monday, it was discovered that the Louisville, Kentucky bank shooter who shot and killed multiple people had “He/Him” in his bio. In response, popular conservative Twitter user and TrendingPolitics co-owner Collin Rugg posted this tweet:

Leftists on Twitter began circulating what appeared to be a “screenshot” of Collin’s LinkedIn profile that also said “He/Him.” This claim was quickly debunked. (as you’ll see further down in this article):

This users tweet was quickly debunked after a tweet from March 18, 2023 resurfaced. The tweet is where, ironically, another left-wing Twitter user tried trolling Rugg with a picture of his LinkedIn account. In the genuine image from a month prior, the “He/Him” tag is obviously not there.

“I’m sorry to burst everyone’s bubble but you all fell for photoshop. Please see this lovely tweet from March 18, 2023,” Rugg tweeted:

The screen grab shows Rugg’s profile clearly without the “he/him” label, exposing exposing the left-wing Twitter users of running a photoshop smear campaign.

Here’s the original tweet from March 18, 2023 with no pronouns:

Twitter users then accused Rugg of “deleting” his LinkedIn profile, but this has also since been proven to be false. LinkedIn temporarily removed his account due to an attempted hack on his account. Here is a screenshot from his phone:

After verifying his identity, Collin’s LinkedIn account is fully restored. See image below provided by Rugg:
