Fani Willis Hilariously MELTS DOWN Over ‘Idiots’ Calling Her ‘Fanny’

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis claims she is “paying no mind” to her critics despite saying in a recent speech that she is growing frustrated with taunting directed at her first name.

During a recent speech at a church outside Atlanta, the Democratic prosecutor told a supportive crowd that “idiots” are targeting her for prosecuting former President Donald Trump and resorting to “schoolyard” tactics like comparing her name to “a woman’s rear.” While her ability to prosecute the case remains in limbo as an appeals court considers a challenge to her authority, Willis has gone on the offensive, attacking foes like Trump without naming him. During a rally in March, Trump mocked her name as “fanny, like your ass,” according to Politico.

“While they’re over there running they mouth, I’m over here paying them no mind. See I’m so tired of hearing these idiots call my name as ‘Fanny’ in a way to attempt to humiliate me. Because like silly school boys, the name reminds them of a woman’s rear,” she said in an assortment of clips obtained by Fox News.

Frequent out-of-court commentary by Willis has been seized upon by lawyers for Trump who accused the Democrat of engineering a politically-motivated case to boost her own standing in an election year. In May Willis defeated another Democrat to win her party’s primary though faced a formidable Republican challenger in November. However, the freezing of her case, on top of rebukes over her romantic relationship with a former prosecutor in the case, has left Willis ostensibly furious about her inability to succeed.

“What I’m here to tell you is to not concern yourself with insults of me. I promise you, I don’t concern myself with them,” she told the congregation at a Georgia AME church during roughly 25-minute remarks. “I am too busy working 15-hour days trying to use every talent God gave me to fulfill my God-given purpose.” She added she works hard “to hold all — all, there are no exceptions — who dare to come into our community and break the law accountable.”

An August indictment accused President Trump and 18 codefendants of conspiring to overturn Georgia’s 2020 election results, prompting investigations by Republicans at the federal and state level intent on examining whether Willis abused federal grants to fund her prosecution. During her remarks, Willis aimed at Congressman Jim Jordan (R-OH) who has provided testimony from a whistleblower who claimed that Willis redirected federal anti-gang funds toward her Trump case.

“We have politicians that spend no time doing their elected purpose. In fact, we got a clown in Washington D.C. who’s been elected for the purpose to make his community safer and pass laws. But he’s been sitting there for 17 years and passed zero laws,” she said of Jordan.

A Georgia Senate investigation, meanwhile, is exploring whether or not to remove Willis from office. In March, Governor Brian Kemp convened a new panel tasked with removing prosecutors who “violate their oath of office.”
